There's an effort to light the Empire State Building in Purple, Green and Gold on Fat Tuesday (2/5/2008) to honor the Gulf Coast residents who are still rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina & Rita. There is time to get an offical request in, follow link below.
ReplyDeleteThe Gulf Coast has not recovered from devastation caused by Hurricanes Rita and Katrina, and Mardi Gras is a perfect opportunity to salute our friends rebuilding down south and remember there's a lot more work to be done.
