Thanksgiving Eve - Wednesday, Nov. 25

The day before Thanksgiving is one of the top six hottest nights on the NY bar scene (along with Halloween, New Year's Eve, Mardi Gras, St. Patrick's Day & Cinco de Mayo). Since almost the entire nation is off the next day, everybody is free to let loose on a Wednesday night.

The bars on the upper west side will be active tonight as thousands of people will come to see the balloons get blown up for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Viewing is from 3 - 10pm on W. 77th & W. 81st St. between Columbus Ave. & Central Park West (the north and south sides of the Museum of Natural History).
