CZC Spring Fundraiser
A night of fundraising to support Comfort Zone Camp
Comfort Zone is a special "big/little buddies" program in which each of the little buddies carries the burden of a life-changing loss. Comfort Zone Camp is the nation's largest bereavement camp.
Comfort Zone Camps are offered free of charge to children ages 7-17 who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. The camps are held year-round in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Virginia, creating an environment where grieving children can have fun and break the isolation death often brings, while learning valuable coping skills for their daily lives.
Because the camps free of charge, they constantly need to raise money in order to send as many campers as possible.
$30 plus recommended donations includes a 3-hour open bar
The evening will feature campy finger food, karaoke, and possibly a few jokes from veteran camper and comedian, David Storch.
Everything about the event, from dress to attitude, will be as casual as possible.
