A picnic with a purpose.

The late-summer storm of Aug. 18 devastated a large section of Central Park,with over 500 trees destroyed and more than 1000 others needing attention. This event will help raise fund to defray the unexpected costs to repair and rebuild.

Grill On the Hill is a unique community fundraiser featuring live music, entertainment, family activities, contests and fabulous food.
Join your neighbors and friends to rally around the city's greatest green space.

$125 (price includes a Family Membership to the Central Park Conservancy)

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure: Sun. Sept. 13

The Komen Race for the Cure is a community event that honors breast cancer survivors and co-survivors and pays tribute to those that have lost their lives to the disease. The Race also plays a vital role in raising funds for research, education, prevention, advocacy and treatment. Each year over 1.3 million people take part in Race for the Cure events around the world.
Thousands will participate in The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Sunday in Central Park.

Tax-deductible contribution to the Greater New York City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure can be made at komennyc.org/race
