The Lunch Club & MurphGuide.com present...
Scavenger Hunt of Historical Village Taverns
You'll be on a team of 5 to uncover the answers to clues
that will take you all over many of the Village's best known historic taverns and cafes.

* Discover Pete's Tavern and figure out in which booth O. Henry wrote The Gift of the Magi.
* See where Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt downed many a mug of light & dark beer at McSorley's.
* Where was Dylan Thomas sitting in the Whitehorse Tavern when he drank
his last shot of whiskey, before walking outside and dropping dead?
* Visit the Village's oldest coffee house which has harbored bohemians poets like Kerouac and Corso,
and has been the backdrop in classic New York movies like The Godfather and Serpico.
* Unlock the secret clue that only certain bartenders will answer,
by playing silly drinking games! (Consuming alcohol is not required, but hey, WE plan to...)

In this 2-hour race against the clock (and the other teams),
you'll work together and visit as many of the clue locations as possible.
