tangent's reading series at Dennehy's Underground:
The Lonesome West by Martin McDonagh
Inspired by an idea born in Ireland, Tangent Theater Company hosts a pub theater reading series at Dennehy's Underground. AboutFACE, a Dublin theater troupe, introduced them to the idea - staging plays in a bar as a way of keeping costs down and still reaching audiences.
Thanks to Donal (Mr.) Dennehy's generosity, they've been staging simple readings of revivals and original works in his space downstairs.
This Sunday, they present Martin McDonagh's Tony Award nominated play, The Lonesome West, part of the Leenane Trilogy.
