Saturday April 19: 2:30-4:30pm
Bluegrass Rhythm Guitar:
This workshop takes a hands-on, detailed and entertaining look bluegrass rhythm guitar moves. Learn the cool bass runs and strums and how to apply them. If you strum folk, bluegrass or country music on an acoustic guitar this workshop is for you.

Sunday April 20:
Mando Workshop Day
2:30-4:30pm - 'Making Your Mando Sing'
One of the hurdles facing mandolinists on the road from memorizing solos to making music is learning how to incorporate rhythm moves into their leads. Using the classic song "New River Train", this workshop will introduce you to a tool-kit of strums and double-stops that can be used to transform a simply vocal melody into a full-sounding mandolin solo. It also introduces some essential middle- and end-of-phrase licks.

5 - 7pm - Rounds on the Mandolin: A Music-Making Workshop
Rounds—those infectious melodies that magically harmonize when sung at staggered intervals — sound great on the mandolin. And because of their simplicity, they can be learned and played almost immediately — so most of this workshop will be devoted to actually making music! Explore six rounds of varying degrees of complexity.
