R.I.P. Hiram Bullock: 1955 - 2008

Legendary guitarist Hiram Bullock died in Manhattan on July 25, 2008.

Hudson Bar & Books will be holding a memorial for him this Sunday.

In addition to his own group, The 24th Street Band, Hiram Bullock recorded with such legends as David Sanborn, James Brown, Miles Davis, Paul Simon, Steeley Dan, Sting, Billy Joel and Barbara Streisand. He was a founding member of Paul Shaffer's "World's Most Dangerous Band" on NBC's Late Night with David Letterman.
