Today in NYC: Thursday, January 7

There is a lot going on tonight, as NY seems to have recovered from New Year's Eve, and the events keep rolling in. I stayed up all night putting together today's listings: PBR is in town! That's The Professional Bull Riders Association, and they are having an invitational rodeo at MSG this weekend. Johnny Utah's is having a "Pre-Rodeo Buck-Off" complete with a mechanical bull riding contest tonight...That's not the only place urban cowboys will feel welcome tonight, as The Texas Longhorns face the Alabama Crimson Tide in the BSC Championship game tonight. Texas alumni will meet at Stout (and other places), while Alabama alum will gather at The Ainsworth. Neutral game watch parties are also slated for The East End, McFadden's, Fat Annie's, Smith's Bar, Mad River, Latitude, Overlook, Mercury Bar and Redemption. Our you can check out our listings of NYC Sports Bars for more options...Our friend Walter hosts his monthly happy hour, "First Thursday, tonight at Banc Cafe...Beer lovers can meet up at The Belgian Room...and the Autism Speaks to Young Professionals Winter Gala benefit is tonight at SL in the Meat Packing District...
