[updated July 14, 2011]
Bastille Day, the French national holiday, is celebrated on July 14 (le quatorze juillet) to honor the anniversary of the 1789 storming of the Bastille in Paris. Frenchmen & women in NYC will start the celebration early with events this weekend. Like any good holiday, why limit the festivities to just one day? Welcome to Bastille Week!
