In recognition of the current heat wave, we are repeating a popular post from last summer's heat wave: "NYC Bars With the Best Air Conditioning"
Summer time in New York means outdoor drinking. But on days like today, with temperatures threatening to reach triple digits, you may be better off staying indoors. And if you are inside in this heat, you had better have air conditioning.

Slate, Bar 13, and Taj are all cranking out some wonderful air-conditioning as well. Thanks for the helpful list!
I don't know about New York as I've never been there but having an AC unit is a must have for Dallas bars, especially during the summer months. People like to relax and chill out and they just can't do it in a scorching bar.
